The Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 ( D&BP ) and the Design and Building Practitioners Regulations 2021 begins on 1 July 2021 and require Design Compliance Declarations for regulated design from Design Practitioners and building Compliance Declarations by the Building Practitioner. This affects new Construction Certificate for whole Class 2 buildings and proportionality impacting on the ability of the Principal Certifiers to issue the Certificates.
AGENDA for the evening:
- 6:00pm - Sign in, meet and greet. IMPORTANT TO ARRIVE AT 6 DUE TO SIGN IN PROCESS. See Below for sign in requirements.
- 6:30pm - 7:00pm - Sponsor from Breezway louvres window systems to give presentation on their latest and current products (30min’s ) with a short Q & A at the end;
- 7:00pm - 7:30pm- Break for Dinner for all (served at seated tables). See Below for details on dinner service.
- 7:30pm -9:00pm - Speaker from Office of NSW Build. Commissioner (Matthew Press) to discuss the Legislative changes on DaBP Act. ( 90min’s ) with a short Q & A at the end;
- 9:00pm Close of evening.
Be sure to attend from 6:30-9 to get your full 2 Formal CPD Points! This is required by the Architects Registration Board!
PLEASE NOTE: Your best experience for this presentation will be in person at the club! We are not currently able to offer recordings of the event afterwards even if you've booked, and there are sometimes glitches with internet, sound etc so we very strongly recommend you book in to join us in person!

Plated main course with tea & coffee will be served, no buffet
Dinner will be two alternating dishes (served at alternate seats each so you can swap if required)
