About the speaker :

Adam has over 20 years of experience in the planning sector including development assessment, strategic planning, environmental impact assessment and development advisory. He has extensive experience with the renewal of key sites and has worked extensively within greater Sydney.

Before joining Mecone, Adam worked as the Principal Planner at a global Environmental Planning Consultancy and prior to that was the Director of City Planning at Liverpool City Council. In his role at Liverpool, Adam was responsible for a team of over 40 professionals, covering building certification, environmental health, planning enforcement, and statutory planning. Adam’s experience in environmental impact assessment has covered a range of projects within the renewal energy sector (Wind and solar farms) waste and resource recovery, health, and education, with a focus on practical and commercially sound advice. He has developed extensive relationships with key government agencies, at both the local level with Council’s, the Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Environment and other key agencies such as Office of Water, Office of Environment and Heritage and Roads and Maritime Services.

As State Director for NSW, Adam is responsible for the efficient delivery of consulting services to clients and ensuring that Mecone’s high project standards are met.

Adam will be presenting on the following topics:

Infrastructure and land use planning – where are the opportunities?

Housing policy updates and new rezoning pathways

Quick update on recent planning updates, Housing SEPP, Employment lands, etc

The evening’s program will run as follows:
