ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Jock Hamilton
Jock Hamilton is a construction lawyer with experience practicing in firms in various states of Australia and England & Wales. He has worked at several of Australia’s largest law firms in their litigation, construction, and insurance teams, focusing on civil construction, apartment towers and mixed-use commercial/residential buildings as well as a variety of infrastructure projects across road, rail, water and nuclear.
Jock holds tertiary qualifications in law and finance. He founded Hamilton Mott in 2021 to bring accessible legal services to Australia’s building and construction industries.
Peter Sarlos
Peter Sarlos is an Architect, Lawyer and Chartered Surveyor providing expert services as an Expert Witness, as a consultant and as an Alternative Dispute Resolution practitioner and services clients throughout Australia with recent commissions in NSW, Queensland, and Western Australian Courts and Tribunals.
He has practiced as a principal of public and private architectural practices since 1975 through which he has developed analytical and forensic skills. He applies these skills to work as an expert and an ADR practitioner to clients, architects and building contractors in matters related to building construction, planning, design, building and personal performance, PII and copyright.
